I do apologize for the delay on the blog, but here it is. I just want to update you on what is going on with this one, and then I will do another blog to answer your questions (I see there are some fresh new questions on the board!). So you will get a double dose of my blog!

Right now, as you now, is very tense and exciting time for all of us. I am sure you are anticipating the new album "Based n A True Story" just as much as I am... right? Well, every week I get to hear a song that is completely finished and it is one of the most exciting things for me right now. I am in love with the new album and I know you will be too. As you all know, I have co-written almost the entire album, so maybe that's why I am so excited. Besides that, the songs are just amazing! I wrote these songs from the bottom of my heart and they are all songs about life... experiences that we all go through at some point or another. I believe that's how music connects us all because we can relate to it on one level or another. I am telling you, you will not be disappointed; I will not let you down!

I recently did my first Lane Bryant appearance in Reno, NV (and a little gambling!). As you all know, Lane Bryant is launching a new Lingerie store called Cacique. Yes honey, they have some of the cutest lingerie and sexy stuff in the new stores! These stores are attached to the Lane Bryant stores so make sure you check them out. Reno was a blast and another success... and it was great to see some familiar faces! It was the perfect way to start off the new campaign. Oh, and I have to tell you that the new photo shoot for Lane Bryant is going to be fierce...so be on the lookout for the new pictures!

As far as my personal life is concerned, I could not be happier. I am getting settled in NYC and I feel right at home. The other day I took Weezy to get a hair cut!! It was so funny! She got a lion cut. I thought I was going to regret it, but I had to do something because her long hair was getting all over! I must say when she returned home from a day at the groomers I was so pleased that I did it. She looks more beautiful now than she did before! I will try to get you guys a picture of her this week so you can see how pretty she is.

Back to Lane Bryant...Listen to your radio for the new Lane Bryant ad that features "Supawoman," the first single. I heard it the other day in Reno and it sounded great.

We just wrapped up the DVD in Nashville. We filmed there for a couple of days. I will keep you posted on the release date for that as well as for the ALBUM!!!! I am also currently working on a charity. As soon as I have more information on that you will be able check it out the new website, along with everything else.

I thank you all for your dedication and loyalty. This is going to be our year, I can feel it. I have these wonderful moments where I am really proud of myself but I know that I have so much more work to do. You guys definitely make it easier! THANKS!
