I know you guys have been wondering, "Where is she?" Well, I have been doing my appearances with Lane Bryant ( I only have two left) and preparing for album promotions. As you know the single came out on iTunes and if you didn't know we are going for adds at radio on August 7th, which is next Tuesday. I CAN'T WAIT!!

I know you've also been wondering about the official website. Well it's being updated and this takes some time, but we have updated the home page with some pictures and my schedule. Don't forget that you can always check out the MySpace page. So stay tuned for the new website! If you like the new picture then you are going to love the ones that we will add. SO HANG TIGHT!

I have been really busy this summer with the gay pride events. The best one this year was Minneapolis, MN sponsored by a bar called the Saloon. They were the most amazing audience! I did four encores! Can you believe it? I had a blast! I wish every audience could be like them. There is not a worst pride event they are either good or great.... never BAD! I had a scary moment at Atlanta gay pride. I was in the limo headed to the stage when the driver received a phonecall saying that the show had been canceled because tornado winds came through and blew the stage down!!! Better before than while I was on stage... RIGHT? So needless to say I did not perform in Atlanta. After that phone call I went straight to the airport to catch my flight. Nothing like those southern tornados!

As most of you know I try to do some charity work in my spare time. Last year I became the spokesperson for Camp Heart Land- Penny Wars. Camp Heart Land is an organization that provides a summer camp, free of charge for children, teens and young adults that are affected and effect by HIV/AIDS. They have a camp in Minnesota and in Malibu, CA both are run by charitable donations and staffed by volunteers in the summer. I attended the camp over the weekend and gave a concert on the last day. I tell you they were the best audience ever! I also signed autographs and took a ton of pictures which I am sure we will share with you soon. It was perfect timing for me to visit the camp. It helped me to put my life into perspective. Those kids helped me more than they will ever know.

Of course you remember penny wars from high school, right? The class who collected the most pennies won a prize. Well this friendly competition was among highschools, colleges, universities, churches, etc. Whoever wanted to get involved was welcomed. The winner would recieve a free concert with me. The winner was Boston University who raised around $60,000 and they graciously donated the concert to the camp. That's how I came to Camp Heart Land. Not only were the kids great I met some other wonderful people there as well. I plan to also visit the camp out in Malibu in August if time permits.
