I just wanted to stop by and give the latest update on what's going on with me. I have seen some of you along the way in San Francisco, Jacksonville, and just last weekend in Staten Island. I actually saw quiet a few of the Krew in Staten Island...It's always a pleasure to see familiar faces!

I wanted to remind you that the MTV show starts airing the 18th of Sept. So make sure you check it out. If you want a sneak peek you can go to youtube.com and mtv.com to view a clip of MTV's Little Talent Show. It's very funny. I can't wait to see it myself!

Okay, let's talk music! We put Supawoman out there a few months ago and took a chance that radio and the public would accept an R&B single from me following my pop hits. It's a tough market and a hard landscape in the music biz now. People like Janet, Beyonce, Pink, have all had tough times getting spins at radio... imagine what it's like for me!? Ha! It's at times like these where I feel blessed to be with Curb because they take their time (too much time for some!) nurturing the project and me. But I know I'm lucky to have them carefully calculate each move in terms of testing at radio, launching a new single, etc. It might not go the way we all want it too but they keep with me and have faith in me as a "career artist." So in-the-end, I'm somewhat disappointed, but ultimately optimistic about the plans to delay releasing the album until next year. In addition to going up against Beyonce, Janet & Justin, there are 8 "Idol" related releases out there fighting with each other for airtime and press. Let them duke it out and I'll sneak in quietly, then BAM! Stay tuned for news on the new single very soon. I know what it is already and I love keeping secrets from you! It's another one I co-wrote so once again, I'm proud it was chosen as the new single. I know you'll be happy. Hint: You haven't heard it yet. Ever!

I'll be in LA again shortly after visiting Mom in Nashville. I'm actually finishing recording the Christmas album which will be released winter 2007. Count on it. They can't push back Christmas, can they!? Ha! Good news is, Curb will release a newly recorded Holiday single to radio this winter. The last one was #1 for 4 weeks. I want 5, ok?!

There are a couple of other things in the works that I can't talk about just yet. I will update you as soon as I get the ok. OK? Thank you so much for being great fans and sticking around through it all. It really means a lot to me!
